    Why “Growing Pains” Might Actually Signal a Deficiency

    Children often say their legs hurt or that they have frequent tummy aches. While these may sound like routine complaints, Dr. Bhalla explains that they can sometimes point to an underlying issue. What parents may dismiss as “growing pains” could in fact be linked to nutrient gaps.

    In her practice, Dr. Bhalla has found that one in four children shows some form of deficiency, with vitamin D being one of the most common. Low vitamin D levels affect how calcium is absorbed, leading to aching bones and discomfort that children may not know how to explain.

    What Frequent Tummy Aches Are Really Telling You

    Recurring abdominal pain is often tied to gut health. According to Dr. Bhalla, constipation is one of the most common reasons behind frequent tummy aches in children. Identifying and addressing these issues early can go a long way in supporting healthy growth and overall well-being.
