The founders are Dhruv Gupta (Consumer tech entrepreneur with 2 successful exits) & Tarun Bhambra (Experienced corporate leader and VC investor) have 15+ years of combined healthcare experience and have together built a profitable health-tech business, serving 100m+ users. We have a team of experienced operations, product leaders, engineers, and healthcare professionals, who have built & scaled innovative platforms. The team hails from top institutes like IIT-KGP / Delhi/ Roorkee, BITS, Univ of Michigan, ISB, IIMs, IIIT, etc, with experience in leading startups and healthcare companies like Practo, Curefit, Unacademy, Licious, Ola, 91springboard, McKinsey, ITC, PwC, Apollo, Lal Pathlabs, Columbia Asia, Manipal, Metropolis, and more.

With our deep understanding of primary healthcare and its opportunities, we are building Orange Health to become the infrastructure of remote healthcare in India, starting with making diagnostics on-demand. Since our launch in 2020, Orange Health has grown fast to become a diagnostics leader in Bangalore by delivering a strong product experience. Currently rated 4.9/5 by consumers across Bangalore, and adopted by hundreds of doctors. We are expanding into different markets in India. Currently we are available across Bangalore and NCR. We are also expanding into different metro cities within 24 months.

About the role


  • This role entails category management based on deep customer centricity, strong analytics, sharp planning and story-telling coupled with product/tech understanding for an enhanced customer experience.

  • Customer understanding & growth

  • Be the voice of the customer internally

  • Understand needs - even those that the customers themselves may not realize

  • Stay on top of changing trends and strategic priorities through in-depth data analysis to predict customer behaviour

  • Customer lifecycle management - consumer acquisition, retention & engagement

  • Own end to end conversion funnel

Own the Storefront:

  • Develop and execute plans to showcase the right products

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities

  • Own the customer experience in the category - make navigation, discovery easier. Save the customer time

  • Identify the parameters customers use to make decisions and ensure catalogue richness

  • Build consumer journeys and right messaging / media for growth (on-platform)

Product Growth Roadmap:

  • Work with Product team to build consumer facing features to drive growth

  • Build new consumer retention features - subscription product, engagement feature etc

The role requires close collaboration with following teams:

  • Marketing

  • Business

  • Analytics

  • City Management

  • Product & Engineering


  • Graduation, MBA is preferred

  • Desire and ability to think like the customer

  • Ability to translate strategies into execution plans and take them to completion

  • Highly analytical & willing to take calculated risks to grow the category

  • Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of technology and business

  • Must be willing to learn

  • Ability to connect with people across teams & levels

  • Strong bias for Action
