About the role
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY
To take daily rounds of assigned areas.
To coordinate training programs for employees.
To ensure the lab outlying units function effectively at all times.
To act as an interface between higher authority and other staff members to provide best healthcare solutions to patients; addressing and resolving patients’ grievances.
To ensure proper implementation of policies to ensure good inter departmental coordination.
To foster the concept and practice of team management among all staff members.
To support lab process audits and process improvement.
To work for quality improvement of Laboratory.
To work on the feedbacks given by patients and hence fostering patient satisfaction.
To do any assigned work given by higher authorities.
Taking care of Overall technical operations of the laboratory.
To coordinate with all branches.
To receive and review customer complaints.
PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
MLT/ DMLT/B.Sc MLT or Microbiology or Biochemistry / M.Sc MLT or Microbiology or Biochemistry with minimum 5 Years of experience.
JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED :
Good knowledge of Quality Control Procedures
Knowledge of Biomedical waste management (State/National)
Knowledge of Safety Measures/precaution that are maintained in Medical Laboratory
Sound knowledge of Q.C & LJ charts
Sound Knowledge of Biomedical waste management
Sound knowledge of PPE Procedures
Sound knowledge of equipment’s maintenance of all the departments.
GENERAL TRAINING REQUIREMENT :
Relevant External & Internal Training
ANY SPECIFIC TRAINING REQUIREMENT :
ISO 15189 – 2012 (4 days training)
Adequate knowledge in Microsoft word, excel and computer applications
