    What is a NIPT for All Chromosomes Test?

    Noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) evaluates the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) found in a pregnant woman’s blood to estimate the likelihood of chromosomal and sex chromosome abnormalities in the developing foetus. This screening identifies conditions such as Down syndrome, trisomy 18, trisomy 13, Turner syndrome, Klinefelter syndrome, Triple X syndrome, and XYY syndrome by comparing the proportion of DNA fragments from each chromosome. NIPT is generally advised if you have a history of chromosomal abnormalities in your children, if an ultrasound indicates potential issues, or if earlier screening tests suggest a possible problem. The test can be performed from as early as 10 weeks of pregnancy until delivery, as foetal DNA levels are typically adequate for accurate testing after this stage. It is important to understand that although NIPT is highly accurate, it is a screening test and not a diagnostic one; positive results should be followed by additional diagnostic testing to confirm any genetic conditions.

I needed to get my covid test done and called almost 10 diagnostic centers none of them responded since it was sunday although they have mentioned they were open but when i called them they said they would come on the next day. (Not to take any names) But Orange Health care team were very prompt. I just checked in their websites. Got a response call within a minute. The executive was very helpful, clear and he surely did know how to talk a patient or person in need , i did feel a sense of caring nature and he sorted it out quickly, arranged the sample collection in the next hour..
