What is Absolute Monocyte Count (AMC) test?
Monocytes are a type of white blood cells (WBCs) that are produced in the bone marrow. They help the body to fight various infections and regulate immunity against foreign substances and also have the ability to destroy cancer cells. An Absolute Monocyte Count (AMC) is done to measure the number of monocytes present in the blood. In this test, the blood samples are collected aseptically and evaluated for results.

Lymphocytes are one of the several different types of white blood cells. White blood cells are an important part of your immune system. They help your body fight antigens, like bacteria, viruses, and other toxins that make you sick.
