The surface antibody (Anti-HBs) is a protective antibody your body makes after recovering from hepatitis B infection or after vaccination. The Anti-HBs test measures the level of this protective antibody in your blood. It shows whether you are immune to hepatitis B, either from past infection or from vaccination.
