    What is NIPT for All Chromosomes Test?

    NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing) is a screening test done during pregnancy using a sample of the mother's blood. It analyses small pieces of the baby's DNA that circulate in the mother's blood to check for certain chromosome conditions. This test screens for changes in the number of chromosomes across all chromosome pairs, including conditions such as Down syndrome. It is a screening test, so it estimates the chance of a condition rather than giving a final diagnosis.

    Before the Test
