What is Widal Slide Agglutination Test (Widal) test?
For the culture, a small sample of blood is taken and checked for the presence of typhoid bacteria. After the ingestion of contaminated food or water, the Salmonella bacteria invade the small intestine and enter the bloodstream temporarily. The bacteria are carried by white blood cells in the liver, spleen, and bone marrow, where they multiply and reenter the bloodstream. People develop symptoms, including fever, at this point. Recognizing these symptoms, the doctor recommends a typhoid test to confirm the presence of typhoid bacteria.

What our customers say about us
I normally have an issue with my veins as they are very thin but the technician was experienced and the sample came out in one shot at the first attempt, which really reassured me.
The pickup was done extremely nicely. Got a message when the person started , no calls for directions and most of all extremely polite representative.
Got my one year old tested. Very professional and safe. Using sealed sample kits with needles, tubes and gloves pre-packed.
